We’re glad to hear of your interest in auditioning for a choir in the Joint Music Program.

If you are interested in auditioning for the Spring Semester 2019, please contact the choir director directly by email:

A successful audition is required to sing in the choirs. One audition suffices for both choirs. Auditions are held every fall during orientation week for incoming and new students. Auditions for the spring semester are held around the time of pre-registration through the first week of classes in the spring semester; contact Prof. Kamm at the email address below to arrange an audition. Once a singer is in a choir, they may continue in that same choir without interruption each semester without reauditioning.

Auditions consist of vocalizing, singing a familiar tune a cappella (such as My Country ‘Tis of Thee, Amazing Grace, Happy Birthday, or another lyrical song of your choosing), an exercise in pitch repetition, and a little sight singing.

Spring Semester 2019, the Claremont Treble Singers regularly rehearses Mondays and Wednesdays 4:15-5:25 p.m. and the Claremont Concert Choir regularly rehearses Mondays and Wednesdays throughout each semester, 5:35-6:45 p.m.

For more information about auditions, you may email the choral director, Prof. Kamm. (
